Abstract

La poudre de l'invention est constituée essentiellement d'une forme dégradable par voie enzymatique d'une poly(N-acétyl D-glucosamine) choisie parmi le groupe constitué par une polyØN-acetyl 0,6-(carboxyméthyl) D-glucosamineõ, une polyØN-acéthyl 0,6-(hydroxy-2') D-glucosamineõ, une polyØN-acétyl 0,6-éthyl D-glucosamineõ et une poly(N-acétyl D-glucosamine) elle-même, cette forme de poly(N-acétyl D-glucosamine) étant lentement dégradée par voie enzymatique par contact avec les tissus de l'organisme. L'invention s'applique en particulier au poudrage d'articles chirurgicaux tels que des gants 11, la poudre 12 pouvant être stérilisée et étant rapidement absorbée par les tissus vivants sans effets secondaires nuisibles lorsqu'elle est transférée dans une plaie.
