Abstract

1.Procedimiento de obtención de obtención de polvos biodegradables para guantes quirúrgicos, consistentes esencialmente en una forma enzimaticamente degradable de poli (N- acetil-D-glucosamina), la cual se degrada enizmaticamente de forma lenta por contacto con los tejidos corporales; caracterizado porque comprende las etapas de: (1) molturar quitina sólida; (2) descalcificar la quitina resultante con un ácido fuerte; (3) neutralizar la quitina de la etapa anterior; (4) agitar la quitina de la etapa anterior con ácido fórmico, acido acético o acido propionico; (5) lavar y recoger la quitina de la etapa anterior, ( 6) suspender la quitina de la etapa anterior en una solución alcalina y calentar a una temperatura de 90-100 ºC, durante, 2,5 horas; (7) neutralizar el producto de la etapa anterior y recuperar poli (N-acetil- D-glucosamina); (i) moltura o pulverizar el producto de la etapa anterior; (9) temizar el producto de la etapa anterior a un tamaño de partícula de 0,5 a 149 micras, preferentemente de 10 a 50 micras; y (10) recuperar el producto tamizado resultante.
