Abstract

Un lecteur de code de Gray selon cette invention comprend : une plaque de code portant des codes de Gray, des moyens de lecture du code de Gray, disposés selon une correspondance un à un avec les chiffres binaires de ces codes de Gray pour lire ces derniers, et un décodeur couplé aux sorties desdits moyens de lecture pour assurer le décodage des codes de Gray dès leur lecture. La plaque de code comporte en outre des chiffres binaires de parité et des chiffres binaires de contrôle de parité disposés côte à côte avec lesdits codes de Gray; ces chiffres binaires de contrôle de parité étant constitués de premiers chiffres binaires positionnés sur les frontières respectives des codes de Gray, et des seconds chiffres binaires occupant les parties restant libres entre ces premiers chiffres binaires.
