Abstract

L'invention concerne l'industrie des matières plastiques. Elle a pour objet la détection des discontinuités dans des nappes de matière plastique qui défilent par réflexion sur la surface de la nappe opaque ou transmission à travers la nappe au moyen d'optiques à fibres 4 et 6. Ce mode de détection est utile pour mettre en évidence des fentes qui peuvent apparaître dans des pellicules de polyester pendant l'étirage transversal ou la thermostabilisation dans des fours à cadre.
