Abstract

L'invention concerne un produit d'étanchéité polymère formable. Il est constitué d'une bande ou d'un ruban d'une matière polymère caractérisée par la capacité de se déformer de manière permanente sous pression en service pour insertion dans des joints entre des éléments à assembler par des boulons ou des moyens du même genre, avec des insertions de support de charge enrobées stratégiquement par rapport aux côtes et à la partie médiane du ruban de façon que des boulons puissent etre passés à travers le ruban pour assembler facilement les éléments sans perturbation ou dommage pour les insertions. Ce produit n'est pas extrudé lorsque le joint est mis en pression.
