Abstract

Imprimante à caractères définis par matrices de points et lus colonne par colonne dans une memoire RAM 13 au moyen d'un compteur en anneau 12 commandé par une impulsion 6 à chaque pas de la tête d'impression 2 et dont le cycle est égal au nombre de colonnes par caractère plus un pas d'espacement Les impulsions de pas sont appliquées au compteur 12 à travers une porte ET 11 et à un compteur 25 de capacité égale au nombre de pas dans une ligne, de façon à produire des espaces entre groupes de caractères (mots ou nombres) par blocage de la porte ET quand le compteur 25 indique des pas sélectionnés par un circuit de codage 26, 27. Cette programmation séparée des espaces permet de les réduire à une largeur inférieure à celle d'un caractère (par exemple à 2 pas tels que 71-72) et libère tous les états du compteur de position de caractère 32, commandé après chaque cycle du compteur 12, pour l'adressage de la mémoire 13.
