Abstract

Dispositif d'épandage destiné à projeter, par voie pneumatique, de la poudre sur une aire de manière à constituer une couche homogène de grande surface, avec une proportion minimale de gaz porteur. Le dispositif d'épandage, destiné à être monté à l'extrémité d'une tuyauterie rigide ou souple, comporte un corps creux 1 dont la paroi supérieure 2 et les parois latérales 14 et 15 sont munies de perforations 8. Le corps creux 1 comporte à l'intérieur une série de chicanes 5; il est prolongé par un bec 3 muni d'un orifice de sortie 9. A l'intérieur du bec 3 est placée une grille de répartition 4. La paroi inférieure 10 du bec 3 prolonge la paroi inférieure 6 du corps 1. La distance entre la paroi 6 et les chicanes 5 va en décroissant dans le sens de l'écoulement biphasique gaz-solide qui entre par l'orifice 7 et en sort par l'orifice 9. Application, notamment, aux installations d'épandage de poudre, par voie pneumatique, et destinées à l'extinction de feux de métaux liquides.
