Abstract

Une charge d'un liquide contenant des matières solides est introduite dans une masse de boue, afin d'en séparer le liquide clarifié à un niveau situé au-dessus de la masse de boue; et la boue concentrée à la base de la masse de boue. La charge est introduite de haut en bas dans la masse de boue (flèches A); au moins une partie de la charge est déviée radialement et vers le haut (flèches B); de la boue provenant de la masse de boue est mise en circulation dans le trajet de la charge déviée (flèches C) et est mélangée avec celle-ci (flèches D); et au moins une partie du mélange est dirigée vers l'extérieur et radialement, vers une zone située au-dessus de la masse de boue (flèche E2 ). Applications : épaississement de pulpes métallurgiques et traitement des eaux.
