Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé d'usinage mécanique d'un outil 4 destiné à donner une forme déterminée à une pièce 6 usinée par cet outil en effectuant un mouvement de translation cyclique entre cet outil 4 et la pièce à usiner 6. L'outil 4 est usiné au moyen d'un outil auxiliaire 5, entraîné en rotation selon l'axe 7 et on donne à l'outil auxiliaire 5 une forme telle que sa surface 8 active de révolution soit dilatée par rapport à une surface 9 de révolution de référence, d'une part, dans une direction normale à cette surface 9 d'une distance d égale à celle qui séparera l'outil 4 et la pièce 6 et, d'autre part, dans une direction parallèle au plan dans lequel sera effectué ledit mouvement de translation. Application : usinage par électro-érosion.
