Abstract

The facsimile transceiver, for linking to telephone terminals to allow transmission of documents via pulse signal networks, has a scanner scanning the document and producing corresp. electrical signals which are then converted into signals suitable for transmission and presenting dark/light changes on the document. The received signals are passed to a demodulator that drives the document reproduction scanner. The facsimile transceiver is coupled to the telephone terminal (voice signal transceiver) via its modulator and demodulator.
