Abstract

The remote-controlled missile firing device allows the launcher to detonate the missile before or after impact. The missile is connected to the launcher by a conductor cable, running between a current generator and a fuse inside the missile. A switch closing the detonation circuit can be provided on the rear end of the cable. For short-range work, a winding mechanism can be incorporated in the missile itself, while for longer ranges this mechanism is incorporated in the launching device, or is independent. The design affords a convenient system of putting down a screen of teargas grenades, only detonated if demonstrators attempt to cross it.
