Abstract

L'invention concerne de nouveaux dérivés 4,5-dichiorimidazoliques. On obtient ces composés par un procédé dont l'une des variantes consiste à faire réagir des dérivés d'acide 4,5-dichlorimidazole-2-carboxylique avec des éthers chlorométhyliques, le cas échéant en présence d'un accepteur d'acide ainsi qu'en la présence éventue le d'un diluant, les dérivés d'acide 4,5-dichlorimidazole-3-carboxylique pouvant éventuellement être utilisés aussi sous la forme de leurs sels de métaux alcalins ou alcalino-terreux ou d'amine. Les composés de l'invention sont doués d'activité herbicide; ils influencent également la croissance des végétaux et peuvent aussi être utilisés dans la lutte contre des insectes et des acariens.
