Abstract

L'invention a pour objet un procédé de préparation de l'acide 2,3-dichloro-4-hydroxy-benzoïque suivant lequel on fait réagir du 2,3-dichlorophénol avec un excès de tétrachlorure de carbone en présence d'un hydroxyde de métal alcalin et d'un catalyseur à base de cuivre. Cet acide peut être mis à réagir avec du thiophène pour donner le 2,3-dichloro-4-(2-thiénoyl)-phénol qui est un intermédiaire important dans la préparation du ticrnnafène, diurétique connu.
