Abstract

Fauteuil pliant de salon, de style meuble de marine mais pouvant être construit en métal ou en matière plastique de même qu'en bois, caractérisé par une ligne où dominent les angles droits et les formes rectilignes. Il comprend : - un dossier, galbé dans son élément supérieur, qui vient se loger entre les deux pieds arrière; - des accoudoirs qui se rabattent sur le siège; - un siège qui se relève à la verticale, les accoudoirs venant se loger entre les deux montants du dossier, prolongement des deux pieds arrière; - deux pieds avant qui viennent s'accoler aux deux pieds arrière par le pliage de barreaux. Le pliage repose sur le jeu de charnières qui, dans le cas d'un fauteuil en bois, peuvent être de simples charnières de menuiserie ou de marine. La stabilité et le verrouillage du fauteuil repose sur l'imbrication même des divers éléments entre eux.
