Abstract

Degree of pollution in a rinsing tank is measured continuously using detectors and the rinsing water is changed when a limit valve is reached. The amount of water used in various industries such as plating and tanning is matched to prodn. thereby optimising water usage. Signals from the detector are compared with a reference level of pollution. When this is exceeded the signal processing unit controls the opening of an electrovalve in a water supply pipe until pollution level is reduced below reference level.
