Abstract
The automatic electronic system for drying out buildings has live electrodes implanted in the walls which produce an electric current which counteracts the natural electric current existing in the wall because of dampness. This current is monitored by detector electrodes. The live electrodes are located in small slots in the walls and sealed in with a cement and graphite mixture. They are connected to an inverter which is connected to earth and to a current source. In order to allow the wall to discharge the current it receives the system is only operated during the day and this is controlled by a photoelectric cell connected in series with the detector electrodes and to an alternating current source. The signals are amplified by an amplifier.
