Abstract

The piston is composed of an outwardly arched base (1), on the outer side of which a centring tip (2) is arranged. Annular reinforcing ribs (3) are fitted on the inner surface (4) of the piston base (1). Stripper lips (6, 7) and sealing lips (8) are provided on the piston shank (5). The first stripper lip (6) is arranged directly on the periphery of the piston base (1). This results in all the air between the filling material and piston being able to escape, in the composition being stripped in a satisfactory manner from the wall of the composition container, and in no air being able to pass between piston shank (5) and inner wall into the composition container.
