Abstract

Selon ce procédé on introduit la charge à fondre, sous forme de particules, au moyen d'un brûleur d'injection 4 dans lequel cette charge est incorporée à un mélange combustible gazeux. Les particules de charges sont ainsi réparties dans la flamme 5, sous forme d'un voile 7 qui couvre une partie importante de la surface du four, au-dessus du bain 2 et des brûleurs 3. Le rendement énergétique du four, dans le processus de fusion et d'affinage est ainsi sensiblement améliore, ainsi que la qualité du verre obtenu.
