Dispositif de freinage individuel du rotor de chaque unité de filage d'une machine à filer Open-End, unité dans laquelle, pour l'arrêter, on peut faire pivoter le rotor, par une courroie de commande, d'une position de marche à une position de repos dans laquelle un levier de freinage pourvu d'un sabot de frein est pressé sur l'arbre du rotor, dispositif caractérisé en ce qu'il est prévu un mécanisme auxiliaire pour actionner le sabot de frein du rotor sans faire pivoter l'arbre du rotor de sa position de travail.
