Abstract

A sliver drafting frame includes four rows of sliver cans lying parallel with the frame axis and arranged in pairs so that a gap is provided between the cans of each pair. In passing from one sliver can to the other sliver can of a pair, the sliver is guided over three rotating guide rolls, one of which is positioned above one can at a level of a platform of the frame and the other two of which are at an elevated posn. above respective cans of the pair.
