Abstract

L'invention concerne une nouvelle forme stabilisée de 1 - (2' - éthylhexyl) - 3 - cyano - 4 - méthyl - 5 - (o - nitrophénylazo) - 6 - hydroxypyrid - 2 - one dont la structure cristalline est caractérisée par un diagramme de diffractions des rayons X présentant une raie de forte intensité à une distance réticulaire de 8,9 Angstrom , une raie d'intensité moyenne à 20,3 Angstrom et six raies d'intensité moyenne à faible à 19,0 Angstrom , 14,3 Angstrom , 10,2 Angstrom , 9,6 Angstrom 6,4 Angstrom et 3,76 Angstrom . Elle concerne également la préparation de ce composé azoïque. Le composé de l'invention est utilisé pour la teinture de matières textiles en polyesters aromatiques.
