Abstract

Le procédé selon l'invention se distingue en ce que l'on fait réagir un p-halophénylacétonitrile ayant une teneur en alcool p-halobenzylique ne dépassant pas 1,0 % en poids avec un halogénure d'isopropyle ayant une teneur en alcool isopropylique ne dépassant pas 1,0 % en poids. On peut ainsi obtenir, avec un rendement élevé (courbe ---) et une pureté élevée, même à l'échelle industrielle, des intermédiaires importants pour la production d'insecticides.
