Abstract

L'invention concerne de nouveaux catalyseurs de transformation d'hydrocarbures, comprenant un métal noble du groupe VIII et du tungstène ou du molybdène fixé sur un support en oxyde réfractaire. Les catalyseurs de l'invention sont caractérisés en ce que le métal noble et le tungstène ou le molybdène s'y trouvent à l'état métallique. On les obtient en imprégnant un oxyde réfractaire à grande surface spécifique dune solution contenant les précurseurs du métal noble et de l'autre métal, en séchant le produit imprégné, puis en le calcinant dans une atmosphère réductrice à une température d'au moins 600 degrés C pendant une période, suffisante pour réduire les deux précurseurs dans leur etat métallique respectif. Application au reformage d'hydrocarbures pour former une essence à fort indice d'octane.
