Abstract

The container is made from a sheet of corrugated cardboard which has flaps to form a lid and base and is stapled along the edge of the cardboard to form a box. The base of the container is fitted with a number of slats which rest on distance pieces (8) located at the ends and the centre of the slat. Each slat is fixed to the base (6) of the container along either edge and along the centre of the base so that the container is evenly supported. The container is assembled upside down with the pallet being fixed to the base.
