Abstract

La présente invention concerne des composés chimiques nouveaux et un procédé pour leur préparation. Il s'agit de 3-alcoxy inférieur-cycproheptadines que l'on prépare en traitant l'énantiomère lévogyre de 3-iodocyproheptadine avec un alcoolate inférieur de metal alcalin en présence de poudre de cuivre. Ces composés sont des agents antisérotonine puissants, et sont utiles comme médicaments pour le traitement prophylactique des maux de tête vasculaires.
