Abstract

La présente invention concerne des fours électriques de chauffage par rayonnement. Un tel four comprend un tube interne 1 en acier réfractaire entouré de deux demi-tubes externes en cuivre 2 et 3, le tube interne et les tubes externes sont séparés par un milieu isolant 9 et des extrémités débordantes en saillie du tube interne sont retournées et brasées sur les tubes externes dans les zones 8 pour assurer un contact électrique entre ces tubes. Un tel four présente l'avantage de permettre d'atteindre des températures très élevées et de présenter une inductance négligeable à ses bornes. Un four selon la présente invention rapplique notamment au chauffage de lopins à des températures très élevées pouvant aller jusqu'à 1.200 à 1.300 degrés C.
