Abstract

On veut effectuer la jonction optique des portions terminales d'une paire de fibres optiques maintenues en contact parallèle avec la portion terminale d'une troisième fibre optique A cet effet, les faces terminales 32, 34 de ladite paire de fibres 24, 26 sont sensiblement coplanaires et perpendiculaires aux axes des fibres, ladite portion terminale de la troisième fibre optique 22 étant supportée de telle façon que son axe soit sensiblement parallèle aux axes de ladite paire de fibres et que sa face terminale 30, sensiblement perpendiculaire à son axe, se trouve disposée contre les faces terminales de la paire de fibres, des moyens étant prévus pour créer un déplacement relatif 36 entre les faces terminales de ladite paire de fibres et de ladite troisième fibre, ledit déplacement faisant décrire au centre de ladite troisième fibre une ligne 38 passant par les centres des faces terminales de ladite paire de fibres. Application aux télécommunications par guides d'ondes optiques.
