Abstract
L'invention concerne une porte calorifugée et son procédé de construction. Ladite porte se compose d'un panneau externe en forme de plateau et d'un élément interne, appelé tambour, dont la périphérie se place sur l'ouverture du panneau pour définir avec celui-ci une chambre creuse fermée contenant une matière isolante à l'état de mousse qui la remplit pour relier le panneau au tambour. Des éléments de retenue maintiennent la bordure du panneau et la périphérie du tambour l'un par rapport à l'autre et définissent une cavité entourant la porte dans laquelle est insérée une garniture qui est maintenue sans être collée ni fixée par des élements mécaniques quelconques. Application à une porte calorifugée, notamment pour réfrigérateurs, congélateurs, ou meubles analogues.
