Abstract

L'invention concerne la réalisation de pastilles de minerai de fer. Elle se rapporte à un procédé dans lequel une partie de la périphérie de la grille de préchauffage des pastilles crues de température comprise entre 593 et 1 204 degrés C environ, est recouverte de capots qui dirigent des courants essentiellement formés d'oxygène sur les pastilles si bien que la magnétite se transforme en hématite. Application à la préparation des pastilles de minerai de fer pour hauts fourneaux.
