Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé d'obtention de souches bactériennes. On part de souches bacétériennes connues comme productrices d'acide poly-(D hydroxy-3 butyrique) et, par une application combinée de mutations, sélections et adaptations, on les rend aptes à transformer pour l'essentiel en acide poly-(D-hydroxy-3 butyrique) des glucides, du méthanol, de l'éthanol, du glycérol, de l'anhydride carbonique et des eaux résiduaires de la synthèse du caprolactame. Les souches bactériennes ainsi obtenues peuvent servir à fabriquer industriellement un polyester dont la chaîne a la structure suivante :
