Abstract

Procédé de fabrication d'un corps fritté au carbure de silicium et au carbure de bore. On forme un mélange sensiblement homogène de carbure de silicium beta , de carbure de bore (10 à 30 % en poids) et d'un additif carboné dans une quantité équivalente à 0,1-1,0 % en poids de carbone libre; on met le mélange sous la forme d'un corps cru et on fritte celui-ci à une température comprise entre 2 000 degrés C et le point de fusion du système entectique carbure de silicium-carbure de bore, dans une atmosphère où le corps est sensiblement inerte, pour obtenir un corps fritté dont la densité relative est égale à au moins 85 % de la valeur théorique, tous les pourcentages étant basés sur la quantité totale de carbure de silicium et de carbure de bore. Application à des échangeurs de chaleur.
