Abstract

a. L'invention concerne un mécanisme de direction comportant une tige de poussée à déplacement longitudinal présentant une partie filetée recevant un écrou mis en rotation par une action d'entrée. c. Ce mécanisme est caractérisé en ce que la rotation de l'écrou est assurée au moyen d'un couple d'engrenages hélicoïdaux biais comprenant un premier engrenage monté sur l'écrou et qui est en prise latéralement avec un second engrenage disposé sur un élément d'entrée. c. L'invention est applicable, notamment aux directions de véhicules automobiles.
