Abstract

Ironing board comprises a laundry tray underneath, with a central U-shaped extension bearing a clamp to ensure its articulation between one of the two pairs of legs of the board at a point situated beneath the common articulation point of the legs. The tray is maintained horizontal, regardless of the height of the board, by means of a U-shaped member of which the arms are articulated between the other pair of legs and simultaneously abut against the top of the central portion of the tray extension and the bottom of the central portion of the clamp. The board pref. has two trays, of which one forms an extension of the other, and the second tray maintains the first one horizontal by a central articulating extension disposed in place of the U-shaped member to fulfil the same functions.
