Abstract

Cette fraise dite << à rainurer >> comporte des outils de coupe en forme de plaquettes qui sont logés, à intervalles angulaires réguliers, dans des évidements que présente un corps de forme générale cylindrique. Chaque plaquette présente un côté en appui contre un épaulement solidaire du corps précité et un autre côté contre lequel est appliquée une extrémité d'un chariot mobile guidé parallèlement à l'axe dudit corps. L'ensemble des chariots associés aux différentes plaquettes est déplaçable simultanément au moyen d'une bague vissable, de maniere à obliger toutes les plaquettes à se déplacer radialement, ce qui permet de réaliser des usinages à différents diamètres. Les plaquettes et les chariots sont immobilisés dans la position choisie par l'appui de brides de blocage serrées au moyen de vis.
