Abstract
L'invention concerne un perfectionnement à un élément d'accumulateur de type Na/S, dont l'espace anodique est rempli d'un métal alcalin fondu servant d'anolyte et l'espace cathodique est rempli d'un catholyte contenant du soufre, la séparation étant effectuée par un électrolyte solide. On a ajouté dans l'espace cathodique une substance faisant passer les chaînes de soufre à un état électriquement chargé, afin d'empêcher l'accumulation de soufre isolant et d'améliorer la capacité de recharge de ces accumulateurs. Les accumulateurs peuvent ainsi présenter de nombreux cycles de charges et de décharge, même à de grandes intensités de courant
