Abstract

The continuous flow meter has all parts easily accessible for cleaning and maintenance and it can be operated in either direction. The rotor (22) is supported in bearings (12) which are fixed by cruciform guide vanes (14) in the end caps (10). The cylindrical main casing (24) has a liner (26) which forms a continuous passage with the end cap liners (16). A magnetic pulse counter (38) counts the revolutions of the rotor. An air probe is electrically coupled to the counter. It measures the conductivity and cuts out the counter if only air is present inside. Quick-release split semicircular clips hold the pairs of flanges together.
