Abstract
La présente invention concerne des agglomérés d'alumine à bonne résistance mécanique, de granulometrie réglable de telle sorte qu'elle soit adaptée aux exigences techniques de l'utilisateur, obtenus par compactage dun << produit intermédiaire >> provenant de la décomposition incomplete du chlorure d'aluminium hexahydraté contenant de 0,8 % à 15 % en poids de Cl, puis granulation du produit compacté, et traitement thermique du produit granulé, ainsi que leur procédé d'obtention. Les agglomérés d'alumine ont une surface spécifique comprise entre 2 et 120 m**2/g et peuvent se présenter sous des formes diverses telles que granules, boulets, Cylindres pleins creux, plaquettes, etc
