Abstract

L'invention concerne une enveloppe de bandage pneumatique ayant une carcasse radiale et une ceinture de renforcement entre la carcasse et la bande de roulement, laquelle ceinture se compose d'au moins trois plis superposes de largeurs différentes et formés en cordes métalliques caoutchoutées ; dans deux plis les fils métalliques ont des angles de 15 à 25 degrés et dans un autre pli ils ont des angles de 60 à 70 degrés par rapport au plan équatorial du pneumatigue. Selon l'invention, un pli 12 ayant des cordes métalliques entre 60 degrés et 70 degrés est agencé entre les deux plis 10 et 11 dont les fils métalliques ont des angles entre 15 degrés et 25 degrés , d'une orientation réciproquement identique et cependant opposée par rapport au premier pli ; les bords 10a, 11a, des plis externes sont respectivement libres de tout contact avec le bord 12a du pli entouré et avec les bords respectifs de l'autre pli externe L'invention s'applique plus particulièrement aux pneumatique pour camions.
