Abstract

Des déchets radioactifs 1 contenant du liquide sont agglomérés avec une matière synthétique thermoplastique 15, à l'aide d'un dispositif de malaxage 25, par le fait que la matière thermoplastique n'est chauffée qu'à l'intérieur du dispositif de malaxage 33. Le séchage du mélange de matière thermoplastique et des déchets est fait par élévation de température et récupération de vapeur 66, 67, 68, 69. Le mélange séché est évacué par un système mécanique hors du dispositif de malaxage. L'utilisation de la présente invention est notamment envisagée pour les centrales nucléaires.
