Abstract

Moteur à air comprimé présentant des cames à double lobe. Ce moteur est alimenté en air comprimé à partir d'un réservoir de stockage rechargeable. Le moteur 13 comporte des cylindres 24 renfermant des pistons de commande reliés à un vilebrequin 18. L'air comprimé provenant du réservoir arrive, sous une pression contrôlée, aux cylindres par l'intermédiaire de soupapes d'admission 32 pour amener les pistons 25 des cylindres 24 à effectuer leur courte motrice et l'air détendu est chassé desdits cylindres à la fin des courses motrices de ces pistons par des soupapes d'échappement 33. Les soupapes d'admission et d'échappement sont commandées par des cames 42, 42' à double nez montées sur un arbre à cames 43 entraîné par le vilebrequin 50. L'air est comprimé par un compresseur à aubage hydraulique qui fonctionne à débit d'air constant Application à la réalisation de moteurs anti-pollution pour véhicules automobiles.
