Abstract
Le procédé concerne la séparation et la récupération du chrome contenu dans les effluents aqueux comprenant le traitement de ces effluents avec un composé de baryum en milieu acide pour précipiter des composés de chrome et la séparation par filtration de ces derniers. On traite lesdits effluents avec du carbonate de baryum et un composé acétique en milieu aqueux, on filtre les composés précipites de chrome dans un premier matériau filtrant résistant aux acides, on récupère le chrome ainsi séparé, on élimine le baryum présent dans le filtrat en l'additionnant d'acide sulfurique qui fait précipiter le baryum sous forme de sulfate de baryum insoluble et en faisant passer l'effluent ainsi traité à l'acide sulfurique sur un deuxième matériau filtrant pour séparer le sulfate de baryum insoluble formé, et on recueille l'effluent ayant été filtré pour la réutilisation de son contenu en chrome dans un procédé de chromage. Application à la séparation et à la récupération du chrome des solutions provenant d'installations de chromage.
