Abstract

Selon le procédé, on mélange à sec, en quantités bien définies, un matériau d'origine argileux pulvérulent, un haut polymère thermoplastique pulvérulent et de l'eau, puis on comprime et l'on met en forme le mélange semi-humide obtenu directement sous presse chauffante à température inférieure à 190 degrés C et à pression de 5 à 35 kg/cm2, sans passer par un stade intermédiaire de séchage entre l'opération de mélange et la cuisson. On obtient ainsi des produits durs, microporeux à la vapeur d'eau et parfaitement plans.
