Abstract

L'invention concerne le << bronzage >> du papier à cigarettes. On réalise cette opération en envoyant des particules métalliques finement divisées en suspension dans un courant d'air contre la surface voulue de la bande de papier à cigarettes, laquelle porte des dessins formés d'une matière adhésive humide. Une partie des particules métalliques colle à l'adhésif et forme le bronzage voulu. Les particules sont transportées jusqu'à l'élément applicateur 12 en suspension dans de l'air comprimé à l'intérieur d'une conduite 42, et les particules en excès sont ramenées au dispositif 28 comportant la réserve de particules métalliques à l'intérieur d'un courant d'air comprimé passant dans la conduite 52. L'invention permet une application plus régulière des particules de bronzage, et l'appareil ne comporte aucune partie mobile susceptible d'être soumise à l'action abrasive des particules métalliques.
