Abstract
L'invention concerne un liant de fonderie monomère comprenant de l'alcool furfurylique et du résorcinoL On prépare un mélange pour sable de fonderie comprenant du sable, un catalyseur acide (de préférence un acide sulfonique aromatique) et un liant qui est un mélange monomère d'alcool furfurylique et de résorcinol contenant 2 à 45 % de résorcinol par rapport au liant Le liant contient également éventuellement un silane. Le liant est pratiquement anhydre, ne forme pas d'azote, ne présente pas d'odeur de formaldéhyde pendant sa fabrication et pendant la production des formes en sable et pendant les opérations de coulée. Il donne des résistances mécaniques qui sont meilleures que celles obtenues normalement avec les résines contenant de l'alcool furfurylique polymère et permet de démouler plus rapidement Application à la fabrication de noyaux et moules de fonderie.
