Abstract

L'invention concerne une composition comprenant un mélange liquide d'une résine liquide furanne-formaldéhyde formée par polymérisation acide d'un mélange furanne-formaldéhyde dans lequel on maintient un excès de furanne, et d'une résine phénolique liquide de type Résol. La résine de type Résol peut être présente dans le mélange à raison de 5 à 50 % et le mélange peut également comporter un silane. La composition obtenue durcit en présence d'un catalyseur acide. Utilisation de la composition précédente comme liant pour fibres de verre et sable de fonderie, en particulier dans la préparation de formes en sable de fonderie.
