Abstract

The cine film projector has a film rewinding system. This system has an arm (113) which is hinged (112) on the casing of the projector. At an end of the arm is a pulley (114) which comes into contact with the film (F) wound on the internal spool. The pulley is rotated by a belt (111) pulley system. One of the pulleys (108) in the belt system (111) is coaxial with the axis (112) of the hinged arm. This coaxial pulley is driven from the main control shaft. The belt pulley drive (111) also drives another belt (119) tensioned between two pulleys (120,123) carried on the hinged arm (113). This leads the film from the internal spool towards a stop (122) designed to loop the film (F) so that it leaves the projector and is taken up on the external spool.
