Abstract

PURPOSE:To automatically mount the magnetic tape of a VTR to tubular tape guides by turning two sets of tape guides in mutually opposite directions and erecting a pinch roller. CONSTITUTION:When tape guides 11, 12 turn in mutually opposite directions along the outside circumference of a tubular tape guide 9 until they make contacts to stopping members 18, 19, the magnetic tape in a cassette 1 is drawn out and is wound to the guide 9, whereby the tape is automatically loaded. On the other hand, a pinch roller 17 is erected by way of the tape being drawn out from the cassette and makes contact to a capstan 16 with the tape in-between, then the tape loaded to the guide 9 makes constant speed moving. Containing of the tape into the cassette 1 is accomplished in the similar manner by reverse turning of the guides 11, 12.
