Abstract

L'invention se rapporte à la chimie organique. Elle concerne notamment un procédé pour préparer du poly(tétraméthylène éther)glycol à groupes terminaux ester ou un copolymère de poly(tétraméthylène éther)glycol à groupes terminaux ester, caractérisé en ce que : a. On met en contact : 1 degrés du tétrahydrofuranne et, éventuellement, un alcoyl tétrahydrofuranne copolymérisable; 2 degrés un progéniteur d'ion acylium; 3 degrés comme catalyseur, un polymère de monomères éthyléniquement non saturés contenant des groupes acide-fluoro-sulfonique; et 4 degrés éventuellement, un acide carboxylique aliphatique; et ensuite b. On sépare le produit poly(tétraméthylène éther)glycol à groupes terminaux ester résultant de la masse de réaction. Ensuite, l'ester peut être converti en poly(tétraméthylène éther) glycol PTMEG par alcoolyse en milieu basique et en présence d'un catalyseur. Le PTMEG est utile dans la production de polyuréthanes et de polyesters.The invention relates to organic chemistry. The resulting poly (tetramethylene ether) glycol product with ester end groups is separated from the reaction mass. Then, the ester can be converted to poly (tetramethylene ether) glycol PTMEG by alcoholysis in a basic medium and in the presence of a catalyst. PTMEG is useful in the production of polyurethanes and polyesters.
