Abstract

Verres photochromes aux aluminophosphates, à réponse rapide, comportant des cristaux d'halogénure d'argent dispersés dans toute leur masse. Ils contiennent en poids : SiO2 , 8,5 à 25 %; Al2 O3 , 13 à 36,5 %; P2 O5 , 7,5 à 33,5 %; B2 O3 , 7 à 28 %; R2 O, 7 à 20,5 %; où R2 O représente, isolément ou en combinaison, Na2 O, K2 O et Li2 O, la teneur maximale en Li2 O étant de 5 % la teneur en SiO 2 n'étant pas inférieure à 16 % quand celle en B 2 O3 est inférieure à 8 %; et la teneur en argent du verre, exprimée en Ag2 O, n'étant pas inférieure à 0,05 % en poids. Application notamment aux verres ophtalmiques.
