Abstract

Installation for storage and mixing of solids or liquids such as cement, notable in that it is complete within itself and mobile. It is composed of two basic parts. Firstly, a multiple silo with several compartments and a rotating hopper which feeds the compartment. The second part is the chassis which, on site, provides the silo base and has a generator for the accessory equipment, winnches, the means of transmission and a control cab. During transport its diesel motor is linked by hydrostatic transmission to the wheels and the chassis is able to haul the silo. The equipment may be transported by road, rail or air and, on site, can be used without linking up to local electricity supplies. It can be operated by a few people. It has a large capacity but avoids all leaks which may pollute the environment.
